I’ve been asked this question many times and my short answer is NO. A lot of people think that discgolf requires working out long hours in order to play better, but discs are a very light tool requiring huge muscles to make a shot. Quite different compared to weightlifters, wrestlers or a sport that requires muscles for the task.

Working out your transformational zones

Discgolf is all about your body mass and its momentum. Likewise, about your arms, legs and footwork that reacts with gravity for the swing. They comprise your transformational zones. Their elasticity favours your shot.

So work out your transformational zones. These will make an impact to your game.
